Remember we had you guessing who this gorgeous lady is in our previous blog post?

By the current blog post title, you’d probably know who she is now! Yes, that’s the very talented fashion blogger, Lenne Chai, who blogs at aetienne.net. Lenne’s blog was also a finalist at the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards, nominated under the Best Fashion Blog category.

After we got to know Lenne a little better, she gracefully accepted our photo shoot challenge by modelling for this feature. This photo shoot was actually inspired by Jessie J’s MTV, and we decided to come up with a funky + high fashion theme. I suppose we could call it high fashion with a bit of spunk?! By the end of the shoot, both Lenne and I were a little more tanned and burnt out, but it was all worth it!

When I asked Lenne what inspired her to start her blog, she mentioned that it was its earlier incarnation as Night Watch (lenne.posterous.com), which was her personal dump for inspirational images and DIY projects. While the site itself has always been fashion-centric, she didn’t take her blog seriously until it entered a styling competition hosted by Tampines One and Urban. Lenne won this competition and was taken by surprise, resulting in her feeling responsible for the content she was putting out there.

One of Lenne’s favourite fashion blog she would strongly recommend is Park & Cube. She thinks that Shini always has something hilarious to say, and she adores her outfits and photos. Aside from Park & Cube, she would also recommend blogs like Fashion On Your Feet, Thrift & Thread, Monoxious and DI$COUNT.

We’ve also requested Lenne to sketch us a self portrait, and here’s what she has come up with! PXK says: this self portrait is too cute to resist!
